Wilson's and Red-necked Phalaropes - Click Ponds, Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands at Viera (Viera Wetlands), Melbourne, FL - 7/16/11

Hi All,

Both a Wilson's and a Red-necked Phalarope were reported on 7/16 from the Click Ponds at the Viera Wetlands in Brevard County, Florida.

The Click Ponds are reached from Wickham Road by taking the last right onto a dirt road immediately before you get to the main wetlands complex, then take an immediate left, and then turn right, and go through an open metal gate, if things haven't changed.

Really great photos of both birds in the post, showing some fading breeding plumages!
