FORK-TAILED FLYCATCHER - Scotland County, NC - 4/25/11

Hi All,

While birders were watching a FIRST North Carolina record CASSIN'S SPARROW in Scotland County, North Carolina on 4/25, A FORK-TAILED FLYCATCHER WAS FOUND AND PHOTOGRAPHED AT THE SITE!!! The usually hidden yellow crown feathers of the Fork-tailed were displayed quite prominently in the photos!

The posts from CarolinaBirds:

CarolinaBirds (The birding listserv for both North Carolina and South Carolina) uses an Archive Access Checkpoint to access their post archives. When clicking on a link to CarolinaBirds from an NGR post, the first time in a session, you will hit the Archive Access Checkpoint instead of the desired post. Click on the "Let me in to the archives" button. You will then be entered into the archives. You can search for the post from there or you can go back and click the post link in the NGR post again and the related post should open from CarolinaBirds. This is a security feature of CarolinaBirds.

Good Near Georgia Birding!
