ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD - Hanahan, SC - 12/20-28/10

Hi All,

An adult female ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD was banded in Hanahan in the Charleston, South Carolina area on 12/20. The bird was last reported on CarolinaBirds on 12/28. This may be a first state record bird as the species is not currently on the South Carolina Checklist (as of 2008) downloadable from The Carolina Bird Club website!

CarolinaBirds (The birding listserv for both North Carolina and South Carolina) uses an Archive Access Checkpoint to access their post archives. When clicking on a link to CarolinaBirds from an NGR post, the first time in a session, you will hit the Archive Access Checkpoint instead of the desired post. Click on the "Let me in to the archives" button. You will then be entered into the archives. You can search for the post from there or you can go back and click the post link in the NGR post again and the related post should open from CarolinaBirds. This is a security feature of CarolinaBirds.
