Snow Bunting - Engelhard, NC - 11/25/10

Hi All,

On Thanksgiving Day a Snow Bunting was reported from near Engelhard, North Carolina.

It looks as if this might be an irruptive fall for the species in the southeast. This is the 5th report since the first appeared on the listservs this November, all from NC, SC, and AL so far.

In South Carolina one of the birds, probably relocated, was seen again on Thanksgiving Day as well.
