Friday Weekly Summary Posts provide a weekly update, and let you know, even if there are no NGR birds reported in a given week, that The NGR is alive, well, and still on the job! NGR weeks always start on Saturdays! :^)

THIS WEEK'S NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS:

Many Baird's Sandpipers from all over the region (we have had a good number in GA this week as well), a good-sized MS White-faced Ibis flock, and a NC Say's Phoebe.

In Florida a Western Spindalis, and a 3rd/4th U.S. record CUBAN PEWEE at Everglades National Park (this bird is still being seen and heard everyday, see the UPDATED 9/5 post for more information)!!!

Also seen were Bell's and Warbling Vireos, and a Smooth-billed Ani!

Good Near Georgia Birding!

Mark
