Friday Weekly Summary posts provide a weekly update, and let you know, even if there are no NGR birds reported in a given week, that The NGR is alive, well, and still on the job! NGR weeks always start on Saturdays! :^)

THIS WEEK'S NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS: SNOWY PLOVERS were seen at Snake Bight in the Everglades at the southern tip of the Florida peninsula, and also on the Atlantic coast in extreme northeastern Florida, extreme southeastern Georgia (GA's 3rd record), and also in South Carolina! A CACKLING GOOSE was found in TN, and a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD returned to NC. In NC the season's 3rd HERALD PETREL off of Hatteras, and a HUDSONIAN GODWIT on the Outer banks! Things are picking up, and many common and early migrants are being reported from all over the southeast, summer must be over!

Good Near Georgia Birding!
