Black-whiskered Vireo - Gulf Breeze, FL - 5/5/10

Hi All,

Another spring migrant Black-whiskered Vireo was seen in Gulf Breeze, Florida today!

Very interesting that Bill Pranty notes in A Birder's Guide to Florida that some of the very rare and irregular spring Florida panhandle Black-whiskered Vireos have been of a different subspecies than the Florida breeding birds, one native to the Greater Antilles and which winter in South America!
