American Flamingo - Snake Bight, Everglades National Park FL - 8/30/09

Hi All,

I suppose I do have at least one (so far) major Near Georgia Reporting vice that I should go ahead and admit to, and that is reporting American Flamingos when they are seen in south Florida, even though they are a south Florida specialty! Like Smooth-billed Anis, it's just plain good to read when they are being seen and where despite any possible flamingo provenance questions!

Today's post from the Tropical Audubon Society's Miami Bird Board:

The TAS Miami Bird Board (a fantastic south Florida birding resource):

Good Near Georgia Birding!
